The National Cinema Days 2017 | Down the River

Starting from February 23, ‘Down the River’ by Asif Rustamov will be screened at cinema theaters. The screenings will be held within the frames of the project ‘The National Cinema Days 2017’. The project is organized by ‘Azerbaijanfilm’ Studio named after Jafar Jabbarly, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The film will be shown at the Nizami Cinema Center, cinema chains of ‘Park Cinema’ and ‘CinemaPlus’.

The schedule of daily screenings will be posted on the websites of the cinema theaters and Facebook page of ‘Azerbaijanfilm’ Studio.

The feature film was produced by ‘Azerbaijanfilm’ Studio named after Jafar Jabbarly, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

For the records, ‘Down the River’ has been screened at 15 film festivals of more than 10 countries. The motion picture premiered internationally at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in Czech Republic. The film received ‘Audience Award’ of the Silk Road International Film Festival in Xi’an, China, Silver Remi Award of Worldfest-Houston in USA, award for Best Feature Film of SEEfest Film Festival, and ‘Jury’s Honorable Mention’ award of Let’s Cee Film Festival in Austria. The feature film also won ‘Golden Nymph’ award in Best Feature Film nomination.
