‘His Father’ and ‘Sarylar – a Journey to the Karabakh Horse’ have been selected to screen at the 6th Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival in India. 200 films from 33 countries will be presented at the film festival and it will last until December 31st.
The film premiered internationally at the 17th ASIATICA, Encounters with Asian Cinema Film Festival in Italy. It has been screened in competition section of the 5th Delhi International Film Festival (India) too.
‘His Father’ is one of the short films of anthology film ‘On the 40th parallel’ by four young directors. The film was produced at ‘Azerbaijanfilm’ Studio named after Jafar Jabbarly, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The documentary film ‘Sarylar – a Journey to the Karabakh Horse’ was produced by ‘Azerbaijanfilm’ Studio named after Jafar Jabbarly and Berlin based ‘Studio Tor 1’ Filmproduktion, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and BP Azerbaijan.
The film was shot in England, Germany, Switzerland and Azerbaijan.
