Our films will be screened at the Sofia MENAR Film Festival

‘Lady Next Door’, ‘My Grief is Light’, ‘Above and Below’ and ‘Dmitrov 86’ have been selected to screen at the Sofia MENAR Film Festival in Bulgaria. The festival will take place on January 12-29 in Sofia.

‘Red Garden’ by Mirbala Salimli also has been selected to screen at this festival.

For the first time the films from Azerbaijan will be screened at Sofia MENAR Film Festival.

This festival makes Bulgarian audience familiar with the culture and traditions of the Islamic world.

These films are included into the anthology film ‘4.1 Urban Motives’, which was produced with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The films internationally premiered in ‘Focus’ section of the Cottbus Film Festival in Germany.
