Film ‘Steppe Man’ at the International Film Festival

Shamil Aliyev’s feature film ‘Steppe Man’ will be screened at the International Film Festival in Bucharest, Romania. The festival will be held May 20 until May 25.

The festival is curated by ‘Pamanteni’ and ‘BLACK SEA TRUST’. The films for this festival were selected from nine countries.

Film tells the story of a man, who is living far from the cities and is closely communicating with the nature. His father teaches him all wisdom of the steppe life. After his father’s death he meets a young woman, who comes from the village. Meeting with her is a new page in his life and a huge step into the big and unfamiliar life ahead…

Film was produced by ‘Azerbaijanfilm’ Studio in 2012, according to order of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Directed by Shamil Aliyev, written by Vidadi Hasanov, cinematography by Rafig Guliyev, production designed by Rafig Nasirov and Ibrahim Aminov, music by Rauf Aliyev, executive produced by Azer Guliyev, produced by Mushfig Hatamov.
